The Coin Sales USA Team (from left to right): Sherman – Greg – Julie

“Thanks for visiting Coin Sales USA! We’re three siblings who have joined together with a common interest in coins. As hobbyists, we are novices of numismatics, with varying degrees of expertise and areas of experience, but if you have questions, we’ll try to help, or refer you to someone who can. Coin collecting is as individual as the people who enjoy the hobby. We all tend to gravitate toward the coins that have greatest interest and meaning for us. Coins are unique in that they are a piece of history, an object of art, and currency. On this site, we hope to celebrate all of these aspects of coin collecting. Our goal is to be educational and inspirational. Please let us know if there’s any way we can be of service.” ~ Julie – Sherman – Greg

“As the Sales and Customer Service Manager, my job is to provide end-to-end support for the entire sales process. After coins are evaluated by our Coin Inspector, and photos are taken, I create the individual sale pages in our eBay store. There’s a lot of information that goes into creating a new sale listing. It must be complete and correct, with as much information as possible to reduce questions that people may have. During the sale, I help answer questions that potential buyers may have. Once coins are sold, I hand off the sale to our manager of shipping. Before, during, and after the sale — I’m here to help.” ~ Julie, Sales and Customer Service Manager

“As the Coin Inspection and Shipping Manager, it’s my job to evaluate all the coins we receive. Before coins are put up for sale, I gather the pertinent information I need to give an estimated grade to the coins we sell. I’m not a certified grader and don’t try to do their job. My goal is to provide the most accurate estimate of a coin’s grade as I can, using 5x magnification, PCGS online Photograde, and PCGS Coin Facts. Needless to say, PCGS and NGC are the experts, my estimated grades are just that — estimates. I would almost always recommend having higher value coins graded and certified by PCGS or NGC since slight variances in grading can result in large differences of value. I then take the highest quality photos I can of each coin. When taking photos of coins, I strive to ensure the photos accurately convey color, strike, luster, detail and all flaws. Our goal is to have 100% satisfaction. After the sales process is complete, I ship the coins to buyers making sure to communicate with the buyer about any special shipping requests. Then our sales manager follows-up with the buyer to make sure everything was to their satisfaction.” ~ Sherman, Coin Inspection and Shipping Manager

“As the Director of Marketing and IT Specialist, it’s my job to advertise our coin sales on eBay. I also promote our website and the educational numismatics articles posted here. I promote through social media like Facebook and Twitter, as well as through advertising. In any truly successful online endeavor, I believe it’s very important to give back to the online communities we’re part of. So, I look for ways to help others. Perhaps through advertising on our website, or helping others with their online strategy. I’ll try to help as I’m able. I ‘like’ and ‘re-tweet’ quality content that others are sharing, and generally try to foster a spirit of cooperation and respect. If I see a really nice coin being sold by someone else, I’ll promote that throughout social media channels. I first became fascinated with coin collecting in the 1970s as a teenager — the physical aspects of the coins themselves, their increasing value, the history behind them, and learning about the regional minting facilities made coin collecting a multifaceted enjoyment for me. Today, over 40 years later, that interest continues. I see CoinSalesUSA as a resource that might inspire a new generation of coin collectors. Feel free to contact me with any suggestions for improving the website or social media presence. Thanks for your interest and support.” ~ Greg, Director of Marketing and IT Specialist
